Welcome to the Northern Fells Group website
We are a community charity based in North Cumbria serving 3,700 residents in an upland area of over 200 square miles. The catchment area incorporates seven parishes – Ireby & Uldale, Boltons, Westward & Rosley, Sebergham & Welton, Caldbeck, Castle Sowerby and Mungrisdale.
The NFG have been providing needs led support services and activities across our catchment area for over 25 years. Our staff team comprising of mostly part time staff who live in the local area and are supported by an army of volunteers to help run many of our projects. The majority of our services and activities are free of charge and can be accessed by anyone regardless of age.
