NEW WHEELS IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD!

The Northern Fells Group are delighted to now offer our new VW Caddy Van to support the people of the area. Able to seat 4 passengers plus a wheelchair it can be used by anyone within the NFG area who doesn’t have their own transport, needs wheelchair transport or is temporarily unable to drive for any reason – e.g. to get to appointments, go shopping or get out to social events.  Fares are calculated on a per mile basis.

To book, call Kitty, our transport organiser, on 07984 940127 and leave your name, number and the journey details (date, time and location). Kitty will check for availability and call you back to finalise the booking or discuss alternatives.

Our larger minibus with 6 seats remains as a backup, to potentially allow for extra journeys where voluntary drivers are available, and for organised day trips.
